An F-117 Nighthawk, call-sign Edge 53, of the 9th Fighter Squadron
"Flying Knights" egresses after striking a target in the Belgrade area, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in April 1999 during Operation Allied Force. The F-117s and the B-2s accomplished all the manned aircraft strategic
attack missions over the high threat Belgrade area until day 60 of the conflict. The Flying Knights operated out of Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany during Operation Allied Force.
