JG-52
by
Michael Howard
Perhaps nowhere did the fires of comradeship burn more brightly than in the bleak desolation of the Russian Front. On the forward airfield in the Caucasus in the Winter of 1942, veterans Lietnants Rall and Krupinski of the fabled JG-52 confer while a young Hartmann looks on.
Each print is signed by the artist as well as the World's leading living ace, Lt. Gen. Gunther Rall (275 victories).
Each print is accompanied by a companion print "Chance Encounter" which depicts Greenheart's Nowotny and a stray P-47 over the Balkans in late 1943. Companion Print: 19.5" x 14"
